Accounting Manager at Limelight Networks in Remote
Job Purpose:
Limelight Networks is looking for an Accounting Manager who will assist in the direction of the organization's general accounting functions.
Essential Functions:
Manage accounting staff and participates in monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes. Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations. Prepare monthly statement of cash flow. Responsible for equity accounting and reporting including RSU and stock option transactions. Review and releases wires and vendor payments. Responsible for reviewing monthly close deliverables prepared by accounting staff. Coordinate with and provide deliverables to internal and external auditors. Maintain certain Sarbanes-Oxley key controls and provide evidence of compliance to internal and external auditors. Assist in the recruitment, training and development of qualified employees. Provide technical guidance and mentoring for accounting staff.
Qualifications:
Experience and Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required, CPA preferred. Minimum of 5 years accounting experience. Accounting experience at a publicly held company required. Minimum two years of experience at a Big Four accounting firm preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required. Experience with large-scale ERP system required (i.e. Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft). Experience with Blackline preferred. Strong technical accounting background in U.S. GAAP. Experience working with foreign entities required. Ability to collaborate and communicate with all levels of management and staff. Effective and efficient management of competing priorities. Experience with tight deadlines and responsibility for accuracy and timeliness is essential Demonstrated high ethical standards and leadership ability. Strong Written and verbal communication skills. This job has direct reporting positions at present. This involves managing effective performance by providing feedback, coaching and development opportunities
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
